We have been blessed to have numerous speakers share at our weekly meetings. From Coaches and distinguished authors to former collegiate and professional athletes, the messages they bring about their walks of faith have a tremendous impact on our community of athletes and coaches. 

Tom Ryan

Tom Ryan

Head OSU Wrestling Coach, Ryan has shared several times at CrossSports about "What is your priceless?"and purpose and calling. Among his many accolades, Coach Ryan led the team to a national title, 6 Buckeyes to 12 individual national titles, coached an Olympic Gold Medalist, and was named B1G Coach of the Year 3 times.

Matt Kuchers

Matt Kuchers

CrossSports volunteer Matt Kuchers played Football for Wittenberg before beginning a life in ministry. He has impacted hundreds of people for Jesus and has a knack for connecting with people and spurring their interests for Christ. He continued our series in early 2021 about Purpose and Calling.

Andrew Piletz

Andrew Piletz

Andrew Piletz is a Senior Lecturer at Ohio State where he teaches about marketing and brand management. He brings experience from working with such companies as Abbott Nutrition, Wallick Communities, Bob Evans Foods, Microsoft and Hood Packaging. Above all, he is passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ.

CJ Saunders

CJ Saunders

CJ Saunders is a former OSU Football player who helped found Cross Sports in its initial years. He now plays for the Carolina Panthers.

Roy Hall Jr.

Roy Hall Jr.

A former OSU Football player. After playing professionally in the NFL for several years, Roy started the Driven Foundation. They provide families with basic human needs to combat poverty, work towards community development, and offer an array of goods and services from mentorship to food and supplies.

Khadevis Robinson

Khadevis Robinson

4-time US Track Champion in the 800 who represented the United States in the 2004 and 2012 Olympics. After his professional success, Robinson began leading other athletes to their own ambitions and is currently an OSU Cross Country and Track Coach.

Tim Brown

Tim Brown

Director of FCA in Columbus, Mr. Brown leads FCA, coaches, and works as a motivational speaker. He spoke about his book Uncommon and what it means to be an Uncommon Athlete.

Aaron Craft

Aaron Craft

A former Basketball player at Ohio State. Aaron played professionally and internationally for several years and CrossSports was thrilled have him share his faith story in April of 2020.

Niko Palazeti

Niko Palazeti

Former Michigan State Football player, Niko Palazeti has brought his high energy motivation to CrossSports on multiple occasions! He is currently an OSU Football Strength coach.

Jon Diebler

Jon Diebler

Former OSU Basketball player Jon Diebler was a guest speaker last year. After his time at Ohio State, Jon went on to play basketball overseas.

Peggy Hale

Peggy Hale

Cross Sports has been excited to have ER Doctor and former Ninja Warrior Peggy Hale speak on multiple occasions.

Dr. Corey Teague

Dr. Corey Teague

Dr. Teague is a professor of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University. He is also a professional mental health counselor. His name may sound familiar as he is the father of OSU running back Master Teague.

Nick Myers

Nick Myers

Head Ohio State men's lacrosse coach. Since 2009, Coach Myers has helped gain the program its first post-season title, coached 21 all-American honors, and was voted co-Big 10 Coach of the Year.

Anthony Schlegel

Anthony Schlegel

Former OSU strength coach Anthony Schlegel brought his energy to CrossSports to share about the importance of renewing our minds daily. Anthony played for Ohio State before being drafted by the New York Jets in 2007. He went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Florida Tuskers. He later started his own business selling "The Difference" a training tool for football players. He is now the head strength and condition coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL.

Kollin Moore

Kollin Moore

In Sept. 2020, former OSU Wrestler, spoke about remaining faithful when COVID-19 sidelined his goals. Among numerous accomplishments, Kollin is a 3-time Big Ten Champion, 3-time All-American, 4-time NCAA qualifier, a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and male recipient of the 2019-20 Big Ten Medal of Honor. He continues to train while pursuing a Master's degree in Kinesiology. He recently won the 2020 Senior Nationals at 97kg at the US Open.

Clark Kellogg

Clark Kellogg

Former Basketball player, Clark Kellogg played for Ohio State from 1979-1982. After college, he began his NBA career with the Indiana Pacers. He spoke at CrossSports about getting our minds right. He is currently a CBS College Basketball Analyst.

Tom Rode

Tom Rode

One of the founders of CrossSports, Tom Wrestled for Wittenberg before becoming a teacher and coach himself. He eventually went into full-time ministry at Michigan State before coming to Ohio State to lead student-athletes to Jesus. Tom is a pillar of the OSU sports community, leading numerous coaches and athletes to deeper relationships with Jesus through chapel sessions, discipleship, and living life with those he serves.

Dallas Lauderdale

Dallas Lauderdale

In the fall of 2020, we had the opportunity to hear from Dallas Lauderdale about the importance of seeking God above all else. Dallas played basketball for four years at Ohio State before going pro in 2011. In his professional career, he played internationally as well as here in the US for the Golden State Warriors, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Idaho Stampede, the Charlotte Hornets, and the Maine Red Claws.
